The Spark of an Idea
The journey of God’s Country Land Services began with a dream. The founders purchased a home which sat on a semi-wooded lot. This land, once a thriving pasture for livestock, had lain untouched for decades, transforming into an impenetrable thicket of trees and brush. Yet, they saw potential beyond this overgrowth. They envisioned it not just as a space to enjoy, but a space that could be fully utilized.
The First Disappointment
Their excitement led them to hire a local land clearing company. They waited eagerly for six weeks, planning and imagining the activities they would soon enjoy on their reclaimed land. However, two days before the work was to begin, they reached out to the contractor to confirm his start time. He then stated that he was behind schedule on a larger project and couldn’t do theirs, not even offering a reschedule. The disappointment was immense. They had lost six weeks, and could have been on a waiting list with a more reliable contractor.
The Second Letdown
Despite the setback, they didn’t lose hope. They hired another land clearing company, expecting a different outcome. But on the day the work was supposed to start, the contractor was a no-show, without even a courtesy call. The frustration was palpable. They had been let down again.
